I have learned that if you cut and paste, not into WORD, but into
WordPad you can then work with your document. This had been pretty
frustrating until I discovered that.

Subject: [LM_NET] Target: Alternatives to Microsoft Word?

I have become increasingly frustrated with Microsoft Word. First, I can
no longer copy and paste from my Yahoo email to a Word document. I don't
know if this is a Yahoo problem or a Word problem, but I can't do it
either on my work computer or my home computer.

I sometimes use the Google Document and Spreadsheet Program, but there
is a limit on the size of files you can save.

I used Word Perfect for many years and was happy with it, but the
earlier versions were not compatible with Microsoft Word, so I didn't
see any choice but to switch to Word. We use Word at work so I would
need a program that would allow me to go back and forth from one program
to another. If anyone is familiar with the newer versions of Word
Perfect, I'd appreciate your feedback.
