When you begin to add graphic novels to your collection, you will want to have some 
backup to justify this to your administration. Allyson Lyga makes a good case for 
the use of graphic novels to promote literacy and a love of reading. Allyson did an 
inservice for our Library Media Support Team and she was excellent. Our supervisor 
purchased a copy of her book for all of the libraries in our district.
