[LM_NET] Mystery title -- Title found!

Thank you to the many LM_NETers who offered their ideas on the book title.
The unanimous answer was "Bears on Hemlock Hill" by Alice Dalgleish.

Hello LM-NET-ers:

I have a teacher/colleague who is looking for a book, can't remember the
title. Here's what she remembers:
* used it as recently as 5 years ago
* she thinks the title contains the phrase "over the mountain" or something
like it
* story is about a boy who is afraid of the nearby mountain, has been told
there's a bear living on the mountain; has to deliver a pot to his aunt's
house over the mountain; has to leave late in the day; thinks he hears a
bear as he's going to his aunt's; on the way back discovers he HAD heard a
bear
She describes the book as a "little chapter book, probably for 2nd or 3rd
grade."
