I have a few questions about security systems and hope someone has some
experiences to share.
Our 3M system died after a long, 13 year life. We have 3M magnetic
strips in all of our materials.
We installed a new Checkpoint system and are not pleased with the level
of detection.
We have a couple of choices:
1. replace with another 3M (hopefully, detection will be
better)
2. replace with a radio frequency system AND replace the
strips in all 18,000 copies on the shelves.
Can anyone tell me about their success or failure with radio frequency
models? Is detection high? I have heard that radio frequency is the
"mode of the future" but I worry about the human time spent re-striping
all our materials.
Please respond to me directly if you have any input.
Thanks
