Hi. Thanks again to everyone who responded. Here were the suggestions
received:

* I often refer people to Freewebs and/or Google pages.

* Googlepages is very easy to use. You must have a Google Username to sign
up. 

* Check out geocities through yahoo...I was able to create a great basic
site for my portfolio.

*  <outbind://36/www.blinkz.com> www.blinkz.com Try this one.

* You'll need a Google Account for this, but everything is free...........
