[LM_NET] ELEM: Beautiful Blackbird

I was reading Beautiful Blackbird by Ashley Bryant to a fourth grade. 
They started talking about a story about how the blackbird got to be 
black.  they thought we had it in the library.  We looked but 
couldn't find.  (I didn't remember ever seeing it).  So, does anyone 
know of another African folk tale about Blackbird?
