[LM_NET] TARGET: Online Support Groups

I am considering writing a short piece about online support groups.
Many are available to help people dealing with health issues and other
concerns. I would like to hear from any of you who have benefitted
from an online support group. I would also be curious to know if you
are aware of any that are positive and helpful for adolescents. This
seems less likely, but if anyone has had a problem with such a group,
I would certainly be interested also. I will post a hit if responses
warrant. I am not looking to quote people by name for this, as I know
for many, health issues are not necessrily things you want to see
published. Any hit I post will be without names. I am just curious to
know if others have had similar experiences to mine. Incidentally, I
do not mind sharing mine, one of which is a group for heart valve
recipients called valvereplacement.com--it is an invaluable resource
for people dealing with this situation. Thanks in advance, Mary Ann
