[LM_NET] HELP: New HP laptop

Two questions........
1)  Where on the keyboard is the *Prt Scrn* key?
2)  If I add a USB flash drive, it shows up under Computer--Removable 
Drives.
    But I add a USB Portable Hard Drive, it does not appear there or 
anywhere else that I've looked EXCEPT it does             appear at the 
bottom of the screen in the taskbar on the right as Remove USB Mass 
Drive Safely...........
    Where do I look to find a USB external hard drive????
