OK, so after my big promotion for Banned Book Week, my principal came to
me with this problem. A teacher took a book away from a student as it
had a most inappropriate cover......... afraid of blockage if I explain,
so, it's by Sarah Veitch, "Training Gounds". I checked it on
Amazon.... Yikes! But, she (and I) feel that we do not ban books here
and that the student would need to have a book cover on it, as well as
not using it as a read aloud to his pals ;-) I am curious to know if
you have had a similar situation and how your staff/admin. might handle
it. Thanks in advance, as always, EC

Currently reading: Lottery by Patricia Wood ..... loving it, too!

"I really didn't realize the librarians were, you know, such a dangerous
group. They are subversive. You think they're just sitting there at the
desk, all quiet and everything. They're like plotting the revolution,
man. I wouldn't mess with them." Michael Moore
