+On Tuesday I asked one of my first grade girls, Nyla, for her late
library books. She said she couldn't find them.
I asked her who is home when she gets home from school. She said her
Daddy.
Yesterday I saw her again. I asked her if she and Daddy found the
library books. She very sadly told me no.
This morning she came to me and said, "I found one book but not the
other, so I made you one."
In her book bag was the book Jubal's Wish, and a piece of paper, folded
in half, with blue and purple crayon illustrations.
If only it was that easy!!
