Hello,

A few folks asked that I post a hit. I had asked what others are doing about
having a printed Spanish language newspaper at school. I can't find anything
affordable.

Here are the suggestions:

I'm looking into getting Reforma, the Mexico City newspaper. It's about $195 a
year according my subscription jobber. There's also a paper called El Norte that I
haven't priced out yet.

An idea- if NC provides access to Ebsco databases either at school or through the
public library- you can create a Journal Alert and have articles e-mailed to you or
the teacher . There is a Spanish language Ebsco database.

Another option would be to do a Google search for the Spanish language papers and
see if you can print out articles that might be of interest to the students-

Have you looked into Follett's Newsbank Service?

My school now receives Parents magazine (Ser Padres) in Spanish. It
only comes out every other month but you can get I believe it is up to
150 (maybe more) copies free.

Thanks to all for their help. My Spanish teacher is going to pursue some on-line
papers for his students.
