What makes your patrons - be they students, teachers, administrators,
parents, vendors - stop and look at your library's displays?
I'm gathering material for a presentation on effective display, and
would like to hear about success stories with display.

For example, is a themed display such as "alternative energy sources" or
"banned books", more effective than topical subjects
like the the coming NFL season or the Iphone or the latest entertainer?
Or is it the location, or the arrangement of the materials that you find
more
effective in getting passers-by to stop and look? Examples that you'd
like to send in jpeg format are welcome.

I'll post a response.

Thanks,
