LM_NET Archive

I have just made the leap this year from elementary to high school and my
co-media specialist also has recently come from the elementary level.

We are trying to update the collection. (Acquiring graphic novels, books in
Spanish, Playaways, etc.) I searched the archives but didn't find any recent
lists that would fit. There are so many awards for fiction books...am I
missing a booklist for non-fiction titles? I've found single titles that
have won awards but no comprehensive list yet. I am working with the
curriculum co-coordinator on specific subject areas.

We have many, many books in the 800s but other sections of non-fiction have
been neglected. I know this is a broad question, but I would love to
collect a sampling of the non-fiction titles or even subjects that are most
popular in other high school libraries. If you have non-fiction titles that
fly off your shelves, please send them to me. I will compile a hit if there
is interest.

Thanks in advance!
