I am interviewing for a position (in a middle school) that has not had a librarian
for multiple years. Also, has had policies in place where the library has not been
seen as a place that students wanted to be. My question is: How have you created a
welcoming atmosphere? What programs? What policies? What furniture arrangement?
Scheduling?
How would/do you work the above in with having a couple of schedule classes that
would close the library. How would/do you get staff to view that there is a change
in atmosphere with the hiring of a new person?
I thank you in advance for any help that you can provide.JaKay Greer
