First of all I want to thank LM_NETers for not discussing the details of
the book online. Due to a family trip I couldn't read the book until 10
days after it came out, I finished last night.
It was great to be able to read LM_NET, see the Potter discussion
without knowing what was going to happen. For my part, I feel that the
hype, lines at book stores and eager fans was a change from the hype,
lines at computer stores and constant commercials for movies and video
games.
Second, I went to the http://teacherlibrarian.ning.com/ to check out the
Harry Potter discussion and found that the three main questions I had,
were questions others had as well.
I must admit that I liked books 1 - 3 the best but still devoured books
4 - 7.
What I would like now is to read one of the books that I have seen out
which go over all the mythology and history that Rowling included in her
books. I am hoping the definitave one will come out now that the 7th
books is out.
