As previously disclosed, I am suffering from a severe form of fried brains.
Late this afternoon, I was told to prepare to teach 3 sections of 6th grade
math and a section of 6th grade Language Arts instead of library. Classes
start Monday. The languge arts won't be a problem, but the math is going to
be a real challenge. I have been trying to find those puzzles that, when
decoded and colored make a picture, like color all the multiples of 5 green,
all the multiples of 2 red and you end up with a pretty flower or something.
Can anyone tell me what the name of that activity is so I can do an
intelligent search? I figure it will be a good review and keep them busy
while I cook up a plan B. Thanks in advance!
