I frequently get donated books, particularly classics, that have been
published under the Barnes & Noble imprint. The problem I have is in finding
MARC records for the books. I realize that I can catalog them myself or
adapt other records (particularly since these are classics), but it is so
much easier if I can just find the records from my usual list of free
sources. I have written to Barnes & Noble about this, and they said they
would look into it, but it has been a year and, as far as I know, nothing
has been done. Do any of you encounter this problem? Do you know of good
sources for these records? Please contact me offlist if you can help.
