Hello. My principal wants to know if there is a program that can log
students in and out of the library, probably using an I.D. card. It
needs to by the doors, not at the circulation desk. It is difficult
to keep track when you can have over 60 kids at any one time before
and after school (We are open 45 minutes before school and between 1
1/4 to 2 1/2 hours after.) and study hall kids and classes during the
school day, and students coming in during passing periods or lunch.
(Our teachers don't use passes to send kids.) Anyone have any ideas
about that?
We do have signs on the door saying to sign in, I do keep telling
people to sign in, it is in their handbooks and still we have
students who think it is an imposition on them or they "forget."
Many thanks!
