[LM_NET] TARGET: Charlotte, NC only

I'm seriously considering moving to Charlotte and working for the CMS school 
system. But I would like to know what I'm getting into before I make a final 
decision.  I've looked at the web site but I would like a personal perspective. 
   
  What is it like working for CMS? Is the district supportive of its media 
specialists? 
   
  How easy is it to transfer from one school to another?
   
  What is your yearly budget like?
   
  Do you have extra duties (car duty, bus duty, etc.)?
   
  Are most of the elementary schools on fixed or flex schedule?
   
  Please feel free to email me off list. All answers will be considered 
confidential by me. I'm just looking for information to help me make up my mind.  
Any help you could give me would be appreciated.
