I think you have a very narrow image of what school librarians do. In
fact, all the things you mentioned are done by my aide and not by me. I
think that the role of school librarian as a teacher is the most
important part of the job-teaching how to research be it in print or
nonprint materials, how to evaluate the information once you find, how
to process that information, present it, and evaluate the finished
product-that is the most important job of school librarians.
