I have many old slides that I would like to convert to digital images.
I would prefer to purchase the hardware to do this myself rather than
sending them off to a service.
If you have suggestions for a good scanner (or other type of equipment)
to use for this purpose, or any other advice to share, I would be very
grateful! (I have just finished converting my VHS and 8mm tapes of
family events to DVD, so I'm ready for a new project).
Thanks so much for any help you can give!
