I found this article via http://www.eduref.org/ . However the article is a
digest from an ERIC Clearinghouse which I understand are no more. So the
link isn't working. I cannot locate it on that site, the dept of education
site. We used to have an online subscription database that might have
accessed it but end fiscal year the district didn't renew and the new ones
don't come online until next week.
Can anyone access and if so would you send it to me.
It would be much appreciated.
Enriching Children's Out-of-School Time This digest from the ERIC
Clearinghouse on Elementary and Early Childhood Education addresses two
types of enrichment programs -- academic and extracurricular -- and
concludes that "the sense of competence and affiliation that can flourish
during out-of-school time provides the best reason for enrichment programs."
