Earlier this year a "lost" book ended up on my desk. The only ownership
stamp is:
From The Library of
The Reorganized Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints
Camdenton, Mo.
A couple of weeks ago I put out a request to this august group, asking
for a librarian from Camdenton to contact me. I got no response, so I
turned to Metacrawler. Eventually I found a telephone number for such a
church. When I called I got an answering machine. I left a message,
asking for them to call me, but no one did. In the meantime I found
information that this group may have changed their name, so I tried
that. Eventually my searching got an edress. No response to my email.
I'm turning to you, now. Any ideas on how to get this book back home?
Camdenton is about an hour away, in a direction I don't often go, or I'd
try the Camdenton phone book and then go looking. Last night I tried
going to the Mormon church in Bolivar, to see if they had any ideas. It
seems that they are the Salt Lake Mormons, and the owner of the book is
the Independence Mormons, so they didn't know any more than I did.
Suggestions, please!
