[LM_NET] Checkout during automated system changes

If you have changed automation systems during a school year, I would like to know 
how you handled circulation and accompanying records.  Did you check out to 
students? teachers?  What limitations did you have?  What would you recommend?  We 
hope to have a new system in place within 6 weeks and are a school district of 
about 5000 students.
I will post a HIT if there is interest.
