Greetings:
Does anyone out there have a district library automation RFP (Request for Proposal)
they would be willing to share, and I could modify for my specifics? We don't
want to re-invent the wheel, and you might have some great points my exploration
committee might not see.
I have been just been asked to chair a committee exploring the implementation of a
district-wide automation system such as Follett's Destiny. (We have 13 buildings,
including one district resource center. Only 7 are currently automated with
stand-alone systems.)
After a through search of the "Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts"
database I've selected a few articles on writing a RFP for the committee members.
(Some nice A - B- C, this is how you do it articles.) However, an actual sample or
two would jump-start the project.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated.
