Yes, embarassingly, I've noticed some teachers and librarians have actually
linked to some of Jeff's sites as "legitimate," useful resources on the
particular topics.
Try this search on Google: "beluga whales facts" - the idiotica.com site
comes out at the top of the list! A great illustration that you can't just
do a Google search and automatically take/trust the first thing that comes
up. (Also a warning that directories can't be completely trusted,
either--this spoof site on Beluga whales is also listed in the Google
Directory list under:
Kids and Teens > School Time > Science > Living Things > Animals > Mammals
