Hi everyone!
I am curious about having adult novels in a high school library collection. How do
you as a high school librarian determine the suitability of adult novels in your
library collection? Do you use the YALSA Alex Award lists? Are adult novels popular
with your students? One teen told me that she enjoys reading all of Nicholas
Sparks' novels. Do you have any novels from mass market adult authors, such as
Sparks, Danielle Steel, John Grisham, Stephen King, etc in your collection?
I will post a hit with the responses I receive. Thank you in advance for sharing
your expertise!
