That's just it. With maintaining the collection AND teaching and
interacting with students, the librarian has more than one person can
accomplish without help. All of these extra jobs librarians take on are just
too too much. When you read Information Power and think about the many hats
we are supposed to be wearing, it boggles the mind to think you can do it
all and do it all well. Kind of just like the many hats teachers have to
wear these days. Its a constant juggling act to keep all the balls in the
air and attend to whats most urgent each day. I guess that is why our days
fly by!
