[LM_NET] HIT>Choosing Periodicals for K-5

Hello Everyone-
   
  Thank you to so many of you for your great advice!  My original question was 
about what periodicals were being used by K-5 students (actually read and used for 
research). I received 12 responses and decided to tally the results for you. I will 
list all suggestions and put the number behind the title if more than one person 
recommended it.
   
  American Girl  (6)
  Appleseeds
  Ask
  BMX+ 
  anything about Dirt Bikes or 4 Wheeling was suggested
  Boys Life
  Calliope
  Cobblestones
  Discovery Girl
  Disney Adventures
  Dogs (a big hit)
  Faces (4)
  Instructor
  Kids Discover (4)
  Ladybug
  Muse
  National Geographic for Kids (4)
  Nickelodean
  Odyssey (2)
  Ranger Rick (4)
  Spider
  Sports Illustrated for Kids (7)
  Your Big Backyard
  Zoobooks (5)
