I will be giving a talk at a literay conference in a few weeks. Last year's
attendees suggested I include a list of free resources other than websites
accessible through standard search engines. In NY we are so lucky to have
periodical and reference databases from Gale and EBSCO through the NOVEL program.
But it's not unusual to have NJ residents at this conference given in Rockland
County, NY. Does NJ have similar access? Does your state provide quality databases
to school and/or the public that these folks may not know about? Most of the
attendees are classroom teachers or pre-service teachers, not librarians. Thanks
for you help!
