I had a grade 8 teacher come to me looking for novels for her class. She
turned a book over that I had given her and said it didn't have the "S".
Now I keep seeing it and wonder what it means. There is often a triangle on
the back of a paperback novel, usually near the ISBN. Sometimes it has an
"S" inside it, sometimes it doesn't. She claimed the S meant it was mature
enough for them. I've seen the S on adult novels now, and sometimes not, so
can someone please clue me in on the meaning? Thank you so much. I love
this list.
