Here I am again! The PTA is asking about my help with running a PARP program
(Parents as Reading Partners) - and I haven't had any involvement with this program
in about 15 years. I've read the PTA's info site regarding it, but am wondering if
you have any suggestions that are alternatives to PARP for elementary school. I
guess I'm just wondering if there are perks and/or drawbacks to this program - and
if there's something else that would fit our district better. We are a small
school - with about 300 students and families that range from very involved with
their children to none at all. Thanks again for your help and please let me know
if you want me to post a hit.
