[LM_NET] Summer reading

I'd add:  Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs, and Steel" and "The Man Who 
Invented Clouds"  this is about an amateur meteorologist, a man whose last 
name was Howard, who devised the naming and classification of clouds. Good 
questions were asked by the people involved.
