Orca Book Publishers has the Orca Sounding line that is good for middle
school and high school. The reading levels range from 3.5 to 4.8 and are
topics of high interest to older readers,

Subject: TAR: hi-lo for YA?

Hello,

Any recommendations for LI-LO readers for middle school, and easy to
read fiction? Someone had ordered these meant for early grades, very
easy readers-- from my POV we do not want to insult them by giving them
easy to read books that are meant for young kids-- we have a small
population of kids in middle grades and high school that need reading
support.

I have looked around and have seen some places, but I need your
expertise as well!

  Thank you,
  Kim
