[LM_NET] Adolesc. Fiction title needed....

Am searching for an adolescent fiction title....and was hoping it would
ring a bell with someone.

I think this book came out over 5 years ago- very dark topic but good
for discussion- set in Liverpool (?) England- I think there was a girl
who had an acid attack on her face, and is having a face transplant. I
think there is a boy terrorist? Irish connection? 

Any glimmers?
