It seems I heard in my Collection Development class or somewhere that there
is a number of books per student that libraries should have. I can't seem to
find the information in my notes or in an archived discussion here.
Does anyone know if there is a "magic" number of books that we are supposed
to have per student? Is that possibly a part of schools' accreditation
process and varies from state to state?
I appreciate any information or opinions.
