It is time for the yearly trip of Seniors from our school to take the trip to the
University library (Kansas State University). I always give them a one day preview
of what to expect and some of the changes they will see between a high school
library and a large University library. I like to share with them some of the
"hints" such as make sure to always have enough dimes for the copier, bring a small
notepad and pencil to write down notes and call numbers, what actually a reference
librarian will do for you, ect. What other "hints" have you learned from your
experience that I can share with my students? Thanks for your help.
