Just want to say "Thank you very much" for the wonderful responses on
the book query I had. The answer was James Frey's A Million Little
Pieces, that has been the object of some controversy with Oprah
Winfrey. I appreciate that many of you cautioned me about the graphic
nature of the content--I certainly don't plan on purchasing it for my
middle school library, and will pass the caution along to the student.
Apparently my "30,000 librarians" was overstated--according to the
LM_NET website it's 16,000. After downloading my email, I'm sure I
heard from most of you!! :-D I didn't respond to all, but be assured
I did look at every one and am once again gratified to belong to a
profession of such helpful people spread all over the world.
