LOUISIANA NEEDS BOOKS!
Melissa Beyeler, and her friend Trent Reznor of "Nine Inch Nails" are
undertaking the huge task of opening schools and libraries in Louisiana this
September.
They need books. New books, used books, children's books, grown up books,
paperback books, hardcover books, a book you wrote, you name it. If I'm
sending you this email, I know you've got some darn books, or could lay your hands
on some.
Send one, or one hundred, or one thousand books to the following address.
You can ship them media rate, it's not even expensive.
Books may be sent to the following secure location:

Please indicate that the books sent were solicited by Melissa Beyeler so she
knows where they are coming from.
Melissa also asks that you include a piece of paper stating who has donated
the books, an estimated value for the books, and an address for the donor, so
that the people from her foundation can send all donors a tax deduction
thank you letter.
This further from Melissa:
"We also need books for adults- so everything will get used. We are trying
to re-stock all the schools and libraries as well. I so appreciate your help
on this, it means the world to me."
Thanks for your help. This can be as large or small of an effort as you
choose, but know that even one book helps.
