Are you attending either NECC or ALA?
AASL's new blog is recruiting volunteer 'reporters' to provide a
vicarious conference experience for those who are unable to actually
attend, by providing up-close-and-personal accounts of the events and
activities at those national conferences. We're looking for both new
attendees and old hands in order to offer a wide variety of interests
and perceptions.
See http://www.noodletools.com/aasl for examples of conference blog-posts.
Basic requirements:
-- AASL member
-- willing/able to post reports about two or more different (ALA or
NECC) programs by July 1
Interested in being part of this new venture?
Please send an email to AASLBLOG@GMAIL.COM by June 12, with
--a brief intro, so that we can ensure that we have a wide range of
interests and demographics represented, and
--a sample report (150-300 words) of ANY workshop or program you've
attended recently, summarizing the content of the program and its'
value to school librarians.
Remember, sharing makes us stronger as a profession!
