Ronda and other LM_Netters,
Thanks for the lead on the History Detectives. Another interesting site to explore
if you are teaching or helping teach a unit on historical investigation is the Nova
program, "Who Killed the Red Baron?" Since this is a topic covered in our World
History curriculum I have used it with history teachers covering WWI.
The URL is: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/teachers/programs/3011_redbaron.html

pulled in. Of particular interest
to me, and possibly useful to many of our students is the link to a
video about Weighing Evidence (it requires Real Player). The link is:

The clip is relatively short (about 8 minutes) and gives a nice
overview of primary and secondary sources, and discusses use of
authoritative sources, but it is done in an engaging style, in a real-
world setting, and isn't overly technical or dry.
