[LM_NET] HIT: Magazines for Middle School Girls

Thanks to everyone for replying. I have a good list that will double my periodical 
section and it looks like I'll be able to please most folks. I have my original 
TARGET below, followed by the list I compiled from everyone's responses.

"Good evening everyone. I am getting my ear chewed off by my lovely wife, who is 
a teacher also. She found my magazine order form for the upcoming year and, 
quite in a huff, informed me that I hadn't picked out ANY girl magazines. Okay, 
I'll admit it, I'm a typical guy. Female magazines terrify me. They include 
stuff about makeup and body functions that are essential to female well being, 
but which I could happily live a lifetime without in depth knowledge of. 
 
I only have one caveat . . . I really don't want half naked people on the front 
constantly and I certainly could do without any articles about "how to" as it 
relates to sex (ala "Cosmo" which, man that I am, I DO know is inappropriate for 
middle school.) 
 
So, I haven't a clue about which magazines to order for my middle school young 
ladies. Therefore, I am turning to you, the experts, for advice. For my sanity, 
and to get me off the couch and back into Budge's good graces, does anyone have 
any suggestions for good magazines for seventh and eighth graders? "
