[LM_NET] ELEM, SHARE: Starting a new year as a new Media Specialist

Hello All,
  I will be starting in my first job this coming August.  I have been trying to 
figure out what I can do with my students for the start of the year.  I have some 
ideas but I seem to hit a brick wall sometimes.  I have been looking through lesson 
plans and trying to create some of my own at least to get me through the first 
couple of weeks.  If anyone can give me some ideas or thoughts to maybe jumpstart 
my thinking and idea process I would appreciate it.  
  I need some theme ideas, ideas for introducing a new librarian, ways to get to 
know the students, etc.  I have gotten some idea from the previous librarian and 
also from librarians I have worked with but I need more to jumpstart me.
