This is a belated HIT on my request for you ideas for where to look for
chairs for creating a "comfy" reading area in my high school library.
ato everyone who responded--my eyes were opened to an array of
possiblities out there! Most people thought that individual chairs would
be better than couches--especially in a high school (do we really need
to say why?). I'm actually thinking of purchasing some video game
playing chairs. Any comments on that?
Here are some of the ideas:
* Hand-me-downs
* Wicker furniture from Home Depot
* Demco catalog
* Thrift Store
* Highsmith catalog
* <http://www.rgeorge.com/>
* Office furniture store
* Kohls--back to school/dorm room chairs
* Brodart catalog
* Sauder three-position chairs <http://www.sauder.com/>
* Check local company that does corporate interiors
Thanks, everyone!
