[LM_NET] Report on the French school libraries, online, in english

Savoirscdi (http://savoirscdi.cndp.fr) is a website, published under the control of 
the French Ministry of Education, aimed for the French school librarians. It has 
become a national authority, a peak forum in the field of teacher librarianship and 
school library resource services.
It provides official and technological informations as well as pedagogical 
materials.
This past year, we have done some investigations on the school libraries in foreign 
countries and published our report on those topics. They are available, in French,

While working on those documents, it occurred that foreign school librarians were 
eager to discover how the documentation service was organized in France. Therefore, 
we decided to publish a report on the subject. It gives an overview on the French 
educational organization and on the school libraries history ; it gives 
informations on school librarians qualifications and certification; it presents the 
school libraries running and the school librarians duties ; at last, it gives an 
overview on the pedagogical activities assumed by school librarians.
