[LM_NET] Tar: Books for a 14 year old boy

Hi
Just got a request from my cousin.  One of her friends has a 14 year old boy with 
inoperable cancer.  She would like to mail him some books from time to time to 
read.  Do any of you have any good suggestions?

I'm an elementary librarian, so I'm not sure what to recommend for a boy.
