Thank you to all the people who sent me suggestions for materials, sites,
etc. (I hope I didn't forget to send you individual thanks!)

As promised, here is the page I have created which has links to many of the
sites people suggested.
http://hhslibrary.org/prop.html

Not on the webpage, but not to be missed, are the American Memory pages
from Library of Congress.
Also some of the books and videos suggested, especially these two
suggestions::

.. two-volume set by Anthony Rhodes called "Propaganda: the art of
persuasion: World War II, an Allied and Axis visual record, 1933-1945." It's
got lots of excellent propaganda in all forms, ranging from posters,
cartoons, leaflets, etc., and a lot of them are reproduced in color. It's a
bit dated, copyright 1983, but it's still a valuable resource for studying
World War II propaganda. They're published by Chelsea House. I hope it's
still in print. The ISBN for the set is 0-87754-461-1.

When I taught the propaganda unit, I focused heavily on [the video]
Confessions of a Hitler Youth, which has a fantastic discussion of the types
of visual (film) and oral propaganda used in Nazi Germany on Children.
Killing Me Softly and Tuff Guise are wonderful films about the manipulation
in the media of women and men in the United States.
