[LM_NET] Found good Web site eval tutorial

Hello all,

One of my librarian pet peeves is students doing  " wild and wooly"   searches on 
the Internet Frontier with no thought to  search strategy and critical evaluation 
of information.  As librarians and teachers, we do our best to bring civilization 
to the teen masses and employ any tools we can to teach information literacy skills.

Lauren Fairchild, English teacher at West, found an interesting and fun tool.  It's 
an  interactive tutorial on web evaluation and she and other teachers are using it 
with  students.    It's from Vaughn Memorial Library at the Acadia University, Nova 
Scotia.   VML also has a tutorial "You Note It, You Quote It ! and one on searching.
