I've seen a few postings lately of people looking for potential  
authors. I invited author David Greenberg to our school in Monterrey,  
Mexico, last year.  He's written SLUGS, BUGS!, SKUNKS!, SNAKES!,  
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HUMPTY DUMPTY?, THE BOOK OF BOYS FOR GIRLS - THE  
BOOK OF GIRLS FOR BOYS, etc., all receiving superb reviews. What a  
coup! Irreverent poet, David knows how to engage the kids with his  
high-energy presentations. He talks about his life, his work,  
performs his poems, shows pictures from his books, and helps kids  
find those moments to write about. His yucky poems are sure to  
attract your reluctant readers. Kids kept reciting his work long  
after he had left, and are still checking out his books. I highly
