I'm new to this junior high campus after having been at the intermediate
school for 3 years. I'm planning to give each teacher a folder with lots of
information, details, and library/research related forms but I don't have it
ready yet.
The principal has given me about 10 minutes to introduce myself, library
procedures, and what-have-you at a faculty meeting Thursday morning. I don't
want to tell them too much right now because they will be in information
overload anyway and wouldn't remember it.
This library has operated a fully-flexible schedule (which will be new to
me) under the direction of an old-school librarian. By that I mean a man
that took care of the collection but did no collaboration or teaching of
library or research skills.
What would you consider the most important items to mention?
